42w Cfl 6500k Enough?

I was wondering if one 42wCfl is enough to veg a mother plant, just for taking clones.

I use three 42 watt bulbs to veg and flower two plants in my cabinet. Im thinking you will need two or more to support a mother. i would use atleast two bulbs if i were setting up a mother cabinet.

Hey Im pretty new the world of growing but I too went the CFL route. I have 7 26 watt 6500k, 2 65w 5000k, 1 42w 2700k and four nice little ladies growing. I would recommend at least 4 of those 42w's bulbs and mix up the spectrum a little bit, kind of like real life. I just dont think the mother will be getting enough lumen's. Any way good luck. PS what strain is she?

If you're just vegging a mother plant for clones... I doubt you need a lot of light. But one? Get 2 and it's perfect. They sell these lightbulb socket splitters too, I bought 3 of them and screwed them all onto a single socket lamp cord. Now I have 4x 26w cfl's just to cover up the rest of the corners [:.
