400watt hps= how many plants???

Hey guys, I was just wondering if anyone around here has a rough idea of how many plants you can flower under a 400watter. assuming the plants are around 3 to 4 ft tall at the end of flowering. thanks for the help.

I would say you could get tight buds with six nice lanky sativas, using just that light. I just bought on myself and plan on doing a vertical SCROG grow using just three girls.

4-6 is best
you should try indica if you got space issues.

I grow four to six under my 400 watts hps and it does good by me.

i put 10 plants. i use a 400 watt MH put 5 directly under the light as you see in the pic. if you look to the back right and near the cfl on the left these plants arent as far along as the good flowering ones plus i've got 3 more off to the left that you cant see in this pic(also not far along into flower)this way when i harvest the 5 i still have 5 more that are half way finished . also a few in another veg room this way i dont have to wait too long between harvest
