400w HPS set up advice

I have a 400w hps light and want to know what you guys think the best setup I can make with it. How many plants can I put under this?

Wouldn't go much bigger than 3x3 with the 400w. How many plants depends on pot size you're using. I know people on here that grow 16-20 in 1-1.5 gal pots..so it all depends.
