400w HPS floodlight any good? returning grower needs help!

Hi all, i used to grow a fair bit years ago but seriously thinking of starting up again with some AF strains for quicker yields, i'll be doing it indoor under lights and probably 4-5 seeds at a time, i have been looking at a deal online, as i live in the UK, for a 400w High pressure sodium light and its decently priced but it is advertised as a flood light, is this any different from a normal hps or would this be ok?, would this be enough for, to be safe 3 female short AF's or would i need different lights, or more wattage?

Sounds good, they are used for outside lighting alot of times since they are so bright, so they are sometimes called flood lights.

Yeah sure its this one, looks fairly heavy but al be attaching it with chains most likely, to the inside of a heavy topped cupboard...

it will require some work, ive seen some really detailed threads on it and it doesnt look too hard when ive looked into it in the past but I've never actually done it and dont remember enough to tell you how to do it, just that i remember it looked pretty easy to me, i'll look around a bit i think i know where a copy is on here

This one is done w/a 150w hps but it should work for you too. its an old thread too, evidenced by him saying the bggest remote ballast growlight you can get is over $150 and 250w's.
