I have two bedroom closets that are available for me to grow in.
The dimensions of the closet is 8' high 4.5' long 2' deep.
I plan on only growing 3-4 plants under a 400W HPS/MH with a 6'' cool tube.
This is what I plan on buying:

* HTG 400W HPS/MH grow light
http://www.htgsupply.com/viewproduct.asp?productID=47981

* 6'' cool tube
http://www.htgsupply.com/viewoption.asp?ID=722

* GrowBright 6'' in-line fan and charcoal/carbon filter
http://www.htgsupply.com/viewproduct.asp?productID=52609

Is there enough space + lighting + ventilation to grow 4 good plants?

Also, will someone please suggest some ventilation set-up options for me? I'm in an apartment, so I don't wanna drill or anything TOO much..
Thanks in advance :]

I have close to the same set up 400 watt MH Hps From HTG...I built a 4 inch ducting to the ceiling were i bought a dryvent connecter and connected it to a 4 inch dryer vent tubing that connected to a bathroom exhaust fan bought at lowes for 55 dollars. brand new runs 65 cfm witch kicks butt for me . But i have the basic set up a reflector hood . Not air cooled ... My grow room is 8 feet tall by 4.5 feet long by 2.5 feet wide or deep as your put it. I was able to veg for 2.5 months and then flowered i warn you thou if you use heavy duty nuts they can and might thripple in size.

If i have the money like your do get your 400 watt hps/MH thats a good idea it costs about 60 to 80 dollars a month for electricty .
The 6 inch cool tube is a good idea. ill buy one of them next time i have extra money.

The growbright inline fan with charcoal filter will make ure you dont have any smell outside or inside your house period.

If yourgoing ogrow 4 plants i would let them veg of say a month 4 maybe 5 weeks then switch over the lighting

P.s. i have 2 full grown females in my closet and they are 6 feet tall

Just make sure the exhaust is at the top and make sure there is a small fan blowing underneath the light to keep temps down quite a bit. Btw I would go with Feminized seeds due to space
Good luck

sounds like you could grow about 3-6 good plants in there.
I'm with you fellers...

Also, that inline fan will be way more than enough for that space. Buy the variable controller ($20) for it. That way you can tune it right in to the flow you need. It's a big fan so be prepared. Also, don't mount it to your wall or ceiling. It will vibrate your structure and make noise. Sit it on a cardboard carton, maybe with a pillow under it and it will be virtually silent.

The Inline fans do make slight vibrations but get this... the growbright inline 6" I have rests on a closet rack and does not vibrate at alll 100% Really weird... It's like I have the one that is perfectly balanced or something. But yes the 6" growbright does make a decent amount of airnoise mainly. If sound is a problem, a muffler might be a future investment

Those are similar dimensions to my flowering chamber (2.5' x 4' x 7' foot high). I grow 8 under 2x430 HPS lights and get monster buds, you should be able to grow 4 no problem. The cool tube is good but the inline fan and filter may not be enough to evacuate the heat, depends on how you configure the air flow. Heat may be your biggest problem, otherwise your equipment is good.

Yes, you can easily grow 4 good plants with your set up. I"m in a similar living condition as you, but closet growing really isn't viable, because you need your dark period during flowering, which is hard to deal with if you have to remember to open and close the closet doors every night. You've gone this far, and you have pretty much all the gear you need, go a little further and build a cabinet. (or buy one and convert it)

Here's my cab, you want something pleasing to the eye when you're living in apartments, could mean the difference of staying out of trouble. I've had chicks over in my bed, they never question it.

Bottom line, ya you can get away with it, but it's going to look obvious, especially when you start running the hps and that orange light is definetely not natural in a home.

I use a 400w hps cool tube in an even smaller space. Its 2.5Wx2Dx7tall. it never gets above 83 or so. A good idea is to make a "tent" out of panda film so that you dont have to worry about the closet doors being open/closed at the right time. It will be stealth with the closet door shut, and not have any light leaks from under the door pr anything. Check out the grow in my signature. there are some detailed pics of the setup. I just use 6inch "duct booster" inline fans I got for like 25$ at home depot. One pushing in and one pulling out. Ill probably upgrade to a canfan pretty soon as the booster fans dont move to much air under pressure so they dont work well with carbon filters. Your setup will be pretty sick but definately invest in enough panda film and a sticky zipper to make a door seperate from the closet door. If you dont, you might herm your girls if you turn the light on in the bedroom when ur grow light is off cause of light leaks through the closet door.
Good luck
