400 hps yield?

So just got in a new 400 hps bulb and ballast and whole nine yards. Currently have about 10 plants, and expect half to be female and half to be male. Or maybe half might die fighting the good fight and half might live, but thats all beside the point. I was wondering if I VEG for 8 weeks and FLOWER for another 8 weeks under a 400hps, what can i expect for yield four months down the road? I really want to know if i'm in over my head and should cut back on number of plants or just keep on truckin. Any info will help!

i have six plants under a 400hps that i vegged for 5 weeks 1 for seedling 4 for veg...and from what i have read on here and currently in on my self (Random Dank Seeds 400 W HPS - Marijuana Growing) around an ounce to 3.5 ounces per plant im in week four starting on week five new pictures soon!
