4 gallon planter big enough until harvest?

I'm going to grow a few plants and start them off in 4 gallon planters. I only plan on vegging for a short period of time, 4 - 6 weeks and I don't want them any taller than 3 ft before I flower. Will the 4 gallon planters be suitable for the entire life of my plants?

I think it will be more then enough but thats only me.

Plenty big enough.Could get away with 2 gallon imo Showgirl
