4-5 knod topping

Knowing what I know about growing just a rule of thumb is to topp at the 4 knod after reviewing the strand that i have (Swiss Cheese) which is a new strand for me that Im trying out. I read that the major growth doesnt start going until you top it. The probleming being is that it only about 5 inches tall but already has the begining of it 6th knod..I also read that you really dont want to top your ladies until it reaches a foot or two.. Can anyone help????

I topped mine at 6 inches with about 6 nodes on it then i topped just above the second node ("uncle ben's topping tech") and they recovered fast and grew three inches in four days!!! Now i have four main cola shoots and the plant is growing huge!!! You can top pretty much whenever it all depends on how big and how you want to grow the plant dude!~

Major growth will happen whether you top or not its all a matter of opinion cause some say 1 big cola is better and others will say that 2 or 4 colas is better! I just love seeing more shoots and bud sites thats why i top them
