3x150W, 400W + cfl or 600W

Just finalising my lighting for new growroom.

I'm growing in 4'8"x2' area. The whole thing is going to be scrog screen, 1 sativa or sativa dom hybrid and 1 indica. Although will eventually go down to 1 at a time.

I'm unsure what sort of light to be using. From what i've read 400w will be just under for my length so could supplement lighting. Was thinking the 400W hps with 1-2 18w 2700k and 2-3 18w 6500k (for flower) on the edges so i end up with about 3:1 red:blue for flower (will reverse everything for veg - mh instead of hps, 6500k instead of 2700k).

I'm trying to get 150w digital ballasts so i can run hps and mh. Do you think this would be a better solution then whats written above?
If I could only get 150w mh ballasts would this still be ok for flower and veg?

I'm happy to get a 600w (power and heat shouldn't be an issue - got good cooling) just don't want it to be overkill - i'd make sure to bend the screen to get an even canopy.

For 1-2 plants at a time 150-250 watts will be fine

L=4' W=2' H=8 Right? If so I would go with a 250 watt mh/hps ballast for 1-2 plants,it's better to have hps than mh you can use hps all the way but I would recommend getting a ballast with both..,.,,. "i'd make sure to bend the screen to get an even canopy."

Got a 275cfm fan pushing air out, into a carbon filter. 2 pipes running the length of room, with holes up it for passive input. Plus a bunch of computer fans to increase circulation.

Just gotta paint it mount lights and test for air/light leaks.

if you are only doing 2-3 plants you wont be using the entire area so a 400 would be fine. you could make a temp wall to block off the unused area

MRMADCOW he mentioned he will be growing 1 plant eventually 250 watt is sufficient
Do you have your seeds??Soil or hydro???

I have no idea how much space a sativa scrog will require though - i thought it alone might require 2/3 of the space
