3rd HPS/MH grow with all new setup. Light concerns

Howdy forum.. been a long time since I posted on here. Glad to be back!

I've put together a whole new setup: new grow box, fixture, bulbs, ballast- totally new setup. Originally started 10 days ago but was out of practice and got my watering screwed up so most of my seedlings fried.

Started over again this past Saturday night.. so far so good but the plants seem to be progressing a little slower than I remember. Looking back at previous notes etc. it seems like my last plants were farther along than these are now. Here are some pics... wondering if the fixture is too high? Running 1000W Hortilux Blue Metal Halide. I've heard so much conflicting info about height that I'm not sure what to believe, so I'm posting here to get feedback. I'm four days in... how does the progress look?

The light looks ok, but I'm thinking the pots may be to large for those fresh seedlings. Just a thought, not hating. I like the DIY growbox! Props!

I like starting in rapid rooters instead of rockwool because it has rooting hormone in it and seedlings root fast as fuck.
