38 Day Old Blue Mystic AF Fem

Hey There.

Name is GetNice.

I have bee a member of RIU for the passed year.

My Current Grow is a Blue Mystic AF Fem from Nirvana.

She is a nice looking plant But Has yet to display Pistils. I dropped it to 12/12 for a few days and nothing different, just slowed growth So I now have it back on 18/6.

I hear alot of mixed thoughts on AF and the start of flowering time schedule.

its had two doses of bloom nutes and I am growing under a few CFl lights.

Tips & Tricks?

My plant is not that big yet but if I do remember blue mystic auto is mostly indica but those leaves on your plant look very sativa like.

i agree. they do look sativa.

Stop changing the light schedule/ gonna hermie her...........stick with 20/4 until the 7-8th week to confirm her inability to flower, then drop it to 12/12 and get what you can off of her............good luck grower

18/6 is what im using. had it on 18/6 forever and then 12/12 for a few days but no pistils pushed.

Yeah I know......got an email response from Nirvana saying that their af's presently will have the most success under a20/4 schedule.....I switched mine to that days ago......either way these Nirvana autos are garbage IMO.....good luck grower

yeah they messaged me this morning saying that there were no known complaints on this strain and asked what lighting i am using. they have not responded to my response yet. also told them my plant looks sativa rather than indica. maybe they gave me wrong seeds but the package is labeled blue mystic af fem

Mine look exactly like your fan leaves.....don't stress yet.....ditto on the packaging.......hopefully ours will flower Ooo

I dont see how you can't stress. most i have seen are flowering at week 3. this is rediculous IMHO

Well i'm on the eighteenth day of veg......you need to keep the light schedule at 20/4 for anther week to teen days to either confirm/hope that it starts on it's own......if not at least you vegged long and will get something from 12/12.........lesson learned/don't buy Nirvana and get the Afghan Kush rider with proven potency and large yields for an auto

Ok so I checked out my plants today and they look nothing like that. Short fatter leaves. Plants only 3. 5 weeks old, about 7 inches tall and their showing sings of preflowering ( I see hairs!) . Growth would be best described as explosive. I think you got a bad seed

i have seen some other grows that are claimed blue mystic and they look sativa like.

Idk mine are younger Nd smaller than your plants and already showing signs of flower. You should email nirvana and say u got bad seeds.

i did they havent answered. you think it will still flower to get something out of it. hate to trash it and start over.

It's def a good looking plant, continue it just to see what you do get. But I would say also start another because you don't know for sure if you'll get anything.

I'm growing this too. I have a grow journal on another forum. Not sure how they would feel about me posting it here, but let's hope they are more concerned with being helpful than promoting one forum over another. I have accounts on many others. Mine went over 30 days without flowering. I switched to 12/12, and the first two days they shot straight up. One or two days later, they exploded in pistils. I bought 10 seeds. Germinated three, and they all came up, however, one was much slower than the other two. She is still considerably shorter. Either a different pheno or stunted from birth. Not sure what I could have done to her. Treated all 3 the same. I am using crappy CFL lights from Wal-Mart, crappy Miracle Grow Organic soil mixed with Miracle Grow Perlite from Wal-Mart, and yes, crappy Miracle Grow Bloom nutrients from... you guessed it. If you look at the last page of my journal you'll see why I never contacted Nirvana, and why I use the word "crappy" so sarcastically. My garden is kicking ass!

I could be an ass, and yes, if anyone from Nirvana is reading this, I could complain that they did not auto. However, I have 3 females that are doing great, so I won't complain too much! They got my seeds to the bible belt, from Holland, in 8 days! If I ordered anything from another company, it would only be for different genetics. Getting them to me safely and quickly is just as important, and they aced that test! I hope the genetics improve before I have to re-order in about 4 months!
