315 CMH vs Horticulture Lighting Group 260W XL QB288 V2 R-Spec QB LED Kit

Which one will grow the best smoke? I have a 32x32 inch tent 80 inches tall, and currently run the 315 CMH.

Umm, I would stick with the CMH, it's an awesome light and I don't think you'll get enough of a benefit to warrant purchasing a new light. Have you done a grow with the CMH before? If not, use it for a grow, enjoy your awesome smoke, then buy the LED if you still want to compare-no sense in wasting money. Then in the future you can get a bigger tent and run both if you want. CMH produces excellent smoke (as do LEDs).

They are very comparable in performance. If you already have the 315w CMH, I don’t think it’s worth spending $350.

If you have high temps problems the QB might have some benefit but if you are managing temps fine then I would stick with the CMH. CMH also has a bit of UV which LED lacks.

I flower with it. Thanks Ill stay were I'm at then. I do have a bit of trouble with the heat but manage, The tent is the tallest I could get 80 inches. I run an 8 inch duct fan 24/7 in the bottom. The plants don't really like the big temp swings, 12/12 but do ok. Hey there weeds. How much cooler do you think the leds would be?

the QB would be much cooler, im looking for BTU amounts right now

I only need maybe 3 good strains period.
My fav now is Spec Queen . is there an issue with fem seeds as opposed to buying reg seeds and finding that perfect girl.
is a fem seed a weaker plant? There is the question ?

Just looking to find a good pheno and clone or trying to cross breed?

Yes, looking to find a good pheno and clone. Some breeders' wont even do fem seeds? Only regular? Is there a reason?
I have bought from James Bean in the past, Vashion , Burmese Skunk, No issues. Looking for a couple new good ones.
Those I had to grow and then sex + toss half,

Keep theCMH get a bigger tent and run both. I run old 250 CMH with Boards and COBs.
