3 to 1?

so i have 2 maxfan 1 fantech. they all are attach to carbon filter to exhaust. i basically
have them (Y) 3 to 1

fan tech \

max fan | -----[3 exhause to 1]

max fan /


does this work?>

certainly not getting the full output of those fans out. temps will tell you if enough air is being exchanged. if you Y'd them into a plenum, and went up in conduit size it would work okay. if you go from say......6" to 12" conduit, after the Y.

crap the exit is 12"...im screwed 1 room temp is 93 and the other is 84. i cant find a way to vent.. my 3 rooms

Most likely you dont have it sized/spaced correctly to allow three large fan exhaust into a single plenum/exhaust.

Really it would be very difficult to make what your saying work through a single 12" exhaust hole without innefficiencies all over...

Are you stuck with only 1 12" exhaust hole?? Could you cut another, use another window??

What options do we have and can you load a quick sketch of your setup layout floorplan, maybe we can help further.

For sure ! the resistance from each fan is going to throw off the other imo. Each fan pushes different amounts of air even if there the same specs ive anyway stayed away from
running a number of fans on one run . Better off just splitting them up and running seperate lines.
