Well I have been researching growing for quite some time now, and am fairly new (helped a buddy with his a few years ago, that's it). I am going to be moving into a 1br in about two months, and here is my plan. Having a 3 stage grow room, do you think this is practical/efficient? I am planning on buying a place with a small 4x4 to 6x6 storage room, and at least one standard sized closet (i'm guessing 1.5x5 feet ballpark. I was thinking of having stage one inside an old PC, where I can have a couple small CFL's, and will grow from germination to about 6-8 weeks. The closet would be stage 2 with maybe a 400w HID, and that would complete the veg stage for about 6-8 weeks. Then the storage room would be for flowering, and that would be a 600w Sodium light.
Does this seem at all realistic? Can you guys offer me any advice to improve efficiency? Any ideas for ideal spaces (I haven't chosen which place I am going to move to yet, so I dont know what size of a grow room is the best for me)? Is it overkill doing 3 rooms like that, due to all of the extra work (e.g 3 exhaust systems, etc.).Would it possibly be better to put it all in one big room? What do you guys think?
