3 seeds in 1 Small planting Pot. Help!

Hey all,

I started my first grow last weekend. The seeds sprouted. (3 of them) *Using the paper towel method*

I didnt think about it at the time. But, I put all three in one Small Planting pot.

*About 12 oz or so..*

They all Are about an inch tall already. They look great.

My question is. When should I Change over to a bigger pot? I know soon. But not sure how long since I dont want the plants to die by changing the pot and adding newer soil.

I know pictures are really helpfull. And, Im working on that.

Ive been watering them once a day, as they are out in the sun at another house since im going on vacaction this weekend.

Should I be worried about me being a dumbass and Planting Three Seeds in one potting plant? A buddy of mine told me the roots can get tangled if I dont transplant them. Which makes perfect sense. But since im only into week one of my first grow. Im kind of stuck on what and when to Move into a bigger pot so I dont kill them routes.

Ive been checking the GROWFAQ, But Im always getting sidetracked. So I thought I would post this up.

*pics will soon be up*

Thanks for the Quick Reply dude!!

Should I be concerned about all three plants surviving? Compared to one plant per pot?

Damn Im a n00b.

if you're careful, they should be fine. But it's much easier to transplant NOW when they have very simple root structures than even a few days from now, when their roots are going to be bigger and more complex. So yes, transplant now, as in right this second.

Separate and transplant them now. Each of them in a 5 or 6 inch pot. Be gentle with them and don't pack the soil in too hard. Press lightly down around them. Slightly water them now and again in 3 or 4 days. It seems as if you are watering too often. Watch the colour for watering signs. When brighter yellow, water them. But don't wait too long until they droop.
These are just my opinions and ideas though, Good luck.

Thanks for the info guys. Cant get to the store til the morning. So hopefully all is well til then!

I didnt pack the soil hard when I seeded. I made a small hole for each seed, then gently topped each seed with a small layer of soil.

I'll keep you guys updated when I attempt to seperate and transplant in the morning.

Thanks again guys!

yes, do it now. don't let the roots grow into each other. the sooner the better.
Smart Man , u really shouldn't plant more then one in a pot if u do they will compete for nutrients and most likely if u don't transplant 1 will kill the other 2 and most likely it will fail itself
