3.75 Net Pot Question.

Hey guys. Noob here. I just found a tote and finished making my 1st res. My net pots are 3.75 inches. I turned them over and cut the holes out the res top. I've seen post and videos of people putting some sort of ring around the top of the net pots for added support. Does anybody know what does are called?

my net pots have a lip on them, so I trace a circle around it, then cut about 1/4" INSIDE the traced circle...the pots slip right in and the lip naround the edge of the pots keeps them suspended. Sounds like you just cut your holes too large.
