Seeds: DNA Genetics Cataract Kush Fem-1
Reserva Privado OG Kush Fem-1
Room: 2'x4'x6' Closet
Lighting: 250W HPS/MH, 8-Daylight 4' cheap fluorescent tubes, 2-85W CFL(one of each spectrum)
Growing Medium: Sphagnum Peat Moss, Vermeculite, and Perlite Mix.

Seeds were started on June 9, in these pictures they have been sprouted for 4 days.
And I have included a picture of a hermie I have probably 2 weeks into flowering in another closet.
I'm ready for these babies to grow up!

1st pic is both right after I put them under the 250w MH. All was fine for a few days and then the OG Kush started getting really droopy. Temps have been around 110 degrees when door is shut and about 81-82 when its open and lights are on, about 76 at night. I've ordered the glass for the light system and also ducting and inline fan, hope this solves the majority of the heat problems. The second pic is of the OG Kush about 2 days ago, and it has got worse since then??

New updates! They have just entered the second week of VEG. I think I may have been over-watering so I let the soil dry out a good bit and also started watering with Roots Organics Buddha Grow & Trinity Catalyst. I have been having some heat problems, but I just installed the lamp glass and ducting with an inline booster to run the heat from the lamp out of the closet. OG Kush is on the left, Cataract Kush on the right.

Looks good to me bro. Especially since you got your gear in for your heat problem. Got my OG for Reserva outside then bring it inside under a 400 W. Just started it last week
Keep up the Good work broha. Ahui Hou

View attachment 1026680Here's a pic of some bagseed that I think came out of a Blueberry Sour Diesel about 5 1/2 weeks into flowering. She got kicked out of her room because I'm more worried about the new 2, but seems to be doing alright for 1-85w CFL.

50% Premier Sphagnum Peat Moss, 25% Perlite, and 25% Vermeculite. When I transplant to 3 Gallon pots I will probably do more Perlite and less peat moss because the peat moss tends to get soggy really quick.

Not a fan of Kush Strains whatso ever, but I actually enjoyed the shit out of DNA's Katarac Kush. Don ( from DNA) SMOKED ME EYES CROOKED on catarac. Def a grade A smoke, especially considering its a kush :)

ever tryed fox farm?
No I haven't, but I was looking into either their soil or Roots Organic's soil for my future grows.

LA Confidential is my all-time favorite and they were sold out, so I figured I couldn't go wrong with OG Kush and LA in one. I smoke for back problems so it's nice to know I'll be getting some good shit.

Would you say that the Fox Farm is a little more user friendly, as far as watering goes, compared to the sphagnum peat moss I'm using now? It seems that no matter how much I water them the soil still seems kind of soggy.

The Og Kush is the droopy one it has been getting better though. Cataract Kush is doing pretty well, but it seems to me that the side branching is taking a while to start growing?
Also should I do "Uncle Ben's Topping technique to get 4 colas"? I have done it before, but I want to get the most out of these. Let me know what you think yields better topping or leaving it alone? The seedlings are Autoflowering Northern lights, Jock Horror and Ak-47 that are going to be going outside in about a week or 2.

Just finished some DNA OG 18 which is almost the same as the regular OG and I cant say you will not be disappointed.I kept it simple with Fox Farm Ocean forest soil in 5 gal buckets as for nutes used Fox Farm Liquid trio and Powder Trio with fantastic results. The Cha Ching really adds the snow to the buds in the late stage.I also grew the Cataract a few grows back and I think the OG 18 was much better not that the Cat was shit or anything also great medicine.

Forgot the tip I would try and crop the plant to double up on branches so you get a bigger yield but they will get bushy so only do it if you have the space but the yield will increase at least 20-30% with this strain and most strains.
