2nd grow checkkkkkkkkk it :D.. +repp

well with less than 2 weeks to harvest on my 1st grow, i thought i would plan my second
it will be using the same grow space (32cmX46cmX120Cm)
here are sum pics i did, you can tell most from the pic
single plant, topped and lst in 2 directions
huge custom made pot for maximum soil with minimum height
first post pics will be the basic setup


i will be going with HPS for this one, and in the pics you can see it up the top, and then 2 CFL's down lower

in this post you can see the plans for the plant


now the questions

for my space which is 120cm tall by 46cmX32cm wide

so like 4ftX 1.5ft X 1ft

which would be better - a 70W HPS or a 150W HPS

and for intake/exhaust i plant on havving two PC fans and one occilating fan in the space
would they be placed kinda one down near bottom for intake and one up near HPS for exhaust ont he side, and would that only be enuf for a 70W


150 overkill??

I don't think 2 pc fans would be able to handle the amount of heat a 70watt or 150 watt emit...try a few more, or find some really strong pc fans...and I don't think 150 is overkill, remember the more light the more bud...

Or you could get a bunch of 42W CFL's. They're the most efficient based on lumen/watt. Wouldn't have to worry about heat as much, plus you'd probably get a better yield than a measly 70W HPS, just my opinion.

that could work too, maybe both would work well together in a space like that???

Conepuller, you don't say what the temps are in there with jut the CFL's in there. If you put a 150 HPS into a 1.5x1 box it's going to get hot, very hot. You are going to have to move a massive amount of air to keep that little box cool enough to grow in. If you are set on this plan I would get the lights into the box with no plants, turn them on, measure the temps and be ready to move air, lots of air.

He's def. gonna need to move alot of air, maybe a DIY cool tube would do the trick...
