2nd Generation LED's Maximum Yield Article- Info?

Has anyone read the article about second generation Led's in the Feb 2010 Maximum Yield?
It basically says this: The latest model tested draws 586 watts of power, yet produces 30 percent more initial light intensity than the sun, and has double the output of a 1000 watt HPS at equal distance from the light source.

They then show spectral diagrams showing the output of a 1000 w hps and their model along side of the know response curve for photosynthesis for flowering plants.

All in all its says the quad band led's kick the 1st gen dual bands, all HID lighting and compact flourescents in the ass.

I used to not really care about this argument, but this data is interesting.

I know that Maximum yield is only funded by its advertising so it could just be a infomercial mag. It appears the light they tested may be the SG602.
Anyone know this light or company? Stealth Grow?
How about quad band Led's

Thanks for your help
