27TH day flowerin(pics),when will they gain some weight??

Well this is my first female,shes in her 27th day flowerin.Im just wonderin at wat point do u usually start seeing the buds fill out?
Im only growin with 1 65watt cool white cfl & 1 26watt warm white cfl. Im obviously not expectin much (this grow was all about learnin for the next one) but sumthin smokeable would be nice,any comments much welcome.

you should really get a couple more lights and focus them on the bud sites. you will be happy with the results for not much more money. good job so far..

get a 250w flowering enviro in there m8 you 'll soon see it pack on the bud

Where u get these high wattage enviro lights? i havent seen any around,although i havent really looked that hard,i havent even heard of cfls that powerful.anything organic i can add to fatten these bitches up? Been lookin for molasses n i cant find the shit in any supermarket.

you can mix a 1/2 cup of brown suger to a gallon of warm water. it will me almost like molases.

Molasses wont fatten anything up if you dont have enough light to begin with. Go buy a couple 42w CFLs and you will be much happier with the end result

Sweet thanks all,is molasses/brown suger just for a sweeter smoke or does it actually have a practical service?
can someone refresh me on how long generally the flower process is till harvest?

Molasses has several purposes. 1) can make your buds yield more; 2) introduces microbes that is beneficial to the medium of growth; 3) can make your buds taste sweeter; 4) mild fungicide; 5) provides carbohydrates...Depending on the strain harvest windows varies. To get the most accurate harvest window it is wise to examine your trichromes after the six week in flowering. The handheld microscope I have was purchased at radio shack for under 15 dollars and the magnification ranges from 60-100 times. Good luck.

While more light will create larger buds, 27 days is halfway. Most hybrids are 50-60 days, with some pure or indica dominants going 42-49, and pure or sativa dominants going anywhere from 70 days up to 140. The buds will look pretty skimpy on most strains until 2/3 or 3/4 of the way through. Calyxes are tiny until they individualy ripen. When enough have collectively ripened, the buds fill out. The scope is a must IMO. Buy at radio shack not a growshop as products are nearly identical, but prices anything but.

ok thanks landragon,im not sure of the strain (can u take a stab at the dominant strain by any chance) so i guess ill just play it by eye n see how i go.

Yea, I have a sativa thats 7 weeks in (I know I know, I have 5 to 7 weeks to go) and I keep asking the same thing. "Are these buds going to fatten up?". Lots of buds, just real small. Had a medium size branch break off so i am drying it, but its shriveled into nothing but white hairs. Any hints on expediting the fattening process?

whats with everyone flowering under cfl's? sorry if im outta line but that just doesnt happen here if you want real weight then you have to use the hps/mh lights. i did my first grow under cfls and got a lovely bit of bud covered in crystals but it was literally a bit

You still got a ways for them to get bigger. My first grow didn't really get that big until the last 3 or 4 weeks. And everyone else is right. More light = More/Bigger bud.

That looks like a quartz halogen or a mercury vapor. While it's certainly better than nothing, I'm told they aint any good for growing.
