Hi everyone, this is my first post here but I've been lurking for a while. My first grow is 3 weeks into flowering. Right now it's just 6x23W CFLs in a big laundry hamper with a PC fan. It's going pretty well thanks to all the info on this site. However I am looking to upgrade my setup to provide more light and better ventilation.
For my next grow I would like to use a cabinet that's 30" wide x 16" deep x 60" tall. I am thinking about using a 250W HPS in this cabinet such as this one:

Two questions: First, is 250W too much for a cabinet of this size?
Second, if the cabinet is 30" wide then it's probably 29" on the inside (I haven't bought it yet). The reflector on the light is 19" long, giving me 5" of space on either side of the cabinet. Is 5" enough room to bend the vent hose at a right angle?
