hi, i currenly have a 250w metal halide electronic ballast and i'm wondering if the 250w hps conversion bulbs work on a e-ballast or do they work better on magnetic ballasts?...I could buy a 250w hps ballast instead but the conversion bulb is a cheaper option.

Also wondering if any of you have experience with the HPS conversion bulbs to mh ballast and if they are worth the money..

I'musing 250w for various reasons.I know that there is much more variety and selection of bukbs etc in the 400\600\1000w ranges.

thanks!

thanks..I was thinking about buying a 250w hps ballast etc but seeing i already have a 250w mh eballast going with a conversion lamp to give me the red spec for flowering would be cheaper then buying a hps ballast setup

thanks
