250w 2700k HPS vs. 125w 6400k CFL for vegging?

Hey guys! I've got three plants from RQS + 1x random bagseed (2x fruit spirit and 1x Shining Silver Haze) they're in week 4-5, and i was wondering if i could benefit from shifting my 125 6400k CFL with my 250w 2700k HPS (which was intended for the flowering period) and still be running 18/6 till flowering? i would appreciate a feedback and thanks in advance Peace!!

if you asking if you should use the HPS bulb for vegging then I would say no and continue using the CFL. Why not simply purchase a 250w MH bulb, it will outperform the CFL.

Lol what's with the hate for hps on this site, sure you can buy a 250mh it can keep your cfl company in the cupboard.

Running with 250w you want as many lumens as possible so veg with a hps.........
People going on about mh spectrum, you get tighter nodes blah blah, it's garbage.
Sure you might get slightly tighter nodes but at the end of the day your yield is limited to
by the amount of watts your using to grow............
