Ok so this will be my second grow the first stemmed a not so brilliant hermi.. Lots of seeds for me I did get some bud though so can't complain that was a soil setup..
This time I will be using nft system with air stones and clay pebbles, I have 4'' inline with carbon filter and also a small inline to bring in air controlled with fan controller, I'm thinking of using ionic 3 part system with the grow bloom and boost.. However I hear the nutrients that you mix two parts are better so unsure will have to decide quickly though, got 4 feminized super silver haze which sprouted in two days.. thumbs up!! currently in a converted computer case with mylar, I have taken the guts out of the psu and left the fan in for obvious reasons and chucked in three 21 watt cfl, Is this enough ? it's only to take them to half/foot currently at 5.6 ph in starter cubes and e.c of 200 which is a bit high but my tap water started high and I only put a couple of drops of miracles grow just to give them something I'm aware not necessary.
The cupboard I will be using as main room is about two meters square painted white may mylar this yet.. Unfortunately I can't use to much electric so am stuck with a 250 hps for flower, Not the biggest for four admittedly.. However if I put 4 cfl one in each corner lower down to aid the lower parts will this help matters
or should I say is it wort the effort?
The grow isn't exactly above board at home so need to keep the smell down, any tips ? Is ssh particularly smelly?
The fan controller helps with noise is there any other ways to keep noise down was thinking mdf boxes for fans and suspending on bungees apparently works great anyone think so ?
I have done much more research this time, However any help would be much appreciated, What sort of height would you flower? 1-2 foot?... Also I was thinking watering 15 min hour in the nft just to avoid the roots getting to saturated I hear these systems can cause rot in the roots air stone should help.
