25 day old plant - is it the right size?

I have a few plants that are 25 days old under a 600 watt hps (2ft away) and they're only about 8 inches tall. Are they too small? Im doing a scrog and was planning on putting the screen 18 inches above the soil will they get taller soon? I only wanted to veg for 2 months then switch to flowering. The strain is indica/sativa mix mostly indica.

no dude totally fine=)!!! your doing good for 3 weeks and having ladies that are 8 inches in height=)!!! good be the strain type of the seed aka ruderalis=)!!! those plants dont even reach a foot when there fully mature=0!!! good luck=)!!!

Thanks so theyll fill the screen thats 18 inches above the soil fine?

i have a few early girls that are at 8 inches as well but seem to have stopped i was wondering the same thing are they suppose to kinda stop getting lots of nobs on them (little arms) this is my first grow

its wierd because i had a few month old outdoor plants a few weeks ago and they were almost 2ft tall at 30 days.

these ladies were poping up great almost an inch a day then wham stoped or looks like it i water them every 3 days with low mix of nuts 1/4 of what the directions are ill post a pic of them tomorrow when i get home from work

how tall your plant is isn't a sure fire way to tell if it's healthy or behind schedule. Generally tall plants are recieving less light and stretch for it while plants recieving adequate light tend to grow shorter and more compact. They will definately continue growing and fill in the screen eventually but they will also stretch once put into flower. I think typically you want to raise the screen with the plant as it grows and you should probably try to start training the plant asap to promote a bushier growth.

yeah, your ladies will fill the screen 18 inches above the soil=)!!! within a week or so you should see some changes in height=)!!! glad to help, + rep to you, and have a great time growing=)!!!
