24hrs to 18/6 will that trigger flowering

Hello guys, as the title states. I have a autoflower on 24hrs light and it's on the 3rd week. If I were to switch to 18/6 will this trigger flower or will it stay in veg? Reason for doing this is I'm running out of room and waiting for another tent to come in. If 18/6 won't kill my veg time then I would leave it in 18/6 till finish.

Ok thanks, thought maybe it could start flowering, starting a dark period so late

No. Autoflowers are day neutral. You can literally give them random light hours and it will just keep progressing toward flowering. Severe stresses can cause them to flower early, reducing overall size and yield.

True autos switch themselves regardless of light schedule. If not sure, switch to 12/12, it'll definitely flower.
