"During the GROWTH PHASE, the light period should be a minimum of 18 hours. The light can be continuous during the growth phase (24 Hours per Day) with profound effects. "

I got this from http://www.greenmanspage.com/guides/advanced.html

Ehh, I was told it was 18h in the grow phase, and turn it down to 12 at fast growth?

Man, What do you do, I am getting a bit confused :-?

I do 18h atm, but if 24 is better I rather go for that... So what do I do ?

Thanks for helping out the noob :) "profound effects" sounds good to me ^^

...18, 24 it doesn't matter. This is called the vegative state, and a plant will stay in vegative state until you start to give it the long nights of flowering phase. I keep my lights on for 24 hours a day because I'm always running in and out of my veg room. Once you trip them into flowering (12 hours of dark), you need to give them absolute darkness for those 12 hours. Good luck.
