alright i have two 1week olds and two 4week n i heard that 24/h lighting is ok for them and helps speed growth.
is this true or false?
and would it be ok to do that with both my babies and my more mature ones?

I'm going to suggest 20/4 light cycle for you. How would you like it if you had to work for 24 hours w/o any sleep? Plus, darkness is a good time for the plant to heal itself and expand it's roots.

If i`m not mistaken, under 24 hour light the plant routinely forces itself into a Calvin Cycle via a `internal clock`as opposed to being influenced by night and day. Sugar and Oxygen are metabolized by the dark reactions to generate cellular CO2 and energy.. thus you would think that a dark period is necessary..

Personally i use 24 hours.. However
I will switch to 18 hours and see what happens.
