2014 starting Outdoor Need Help

Hello rollitup.org very nice website gotten a lot of help. I am starting my first outdoor grow this year. So far I have 9 clones 5 are strain x , other 4 are romulan. For now I started in a 4x4x7 tent with a t5 6 bulb fixture to start veg. Clones have been alive for about 2 weeks. For the air i have 3 fans blowing air in tent and I also have a 6" in line fan connected to filter taking all air out of tent. I'm Going to change light to 600w hps this week to keep vegging. Right now I am using very small pots and haven't used any nutrients. I am going to Transplant into bigger pots but was wondering how big pots should I go. I am going to veg for about 11/2 months and then throw outdoors in 40 to 50 gallon pots. And what soil mix should use ? I was thinking of happy frog and go with botanicare nutrients. Also what is the most plants I could do in what size pots in a 4x4 length and width size. I want to fill up my veg tent to capacity with clones and then move outdoors in a month in a half in northern california. How do I go about drainage while pots are in tent? I put a pic up of clones how do they look I want to put outside first week of june. Since they haven't grown yet at all.

Since I started growing back in 2008... LOL
I usually start my clones starting mid April.

Not a factor, I have placed freshly rooted clones directly into final spot (outdoors). I would recommend hardening them off to the sun, by slowly acclimating them... Place them in the shade.

I want clones to look like this before they go outdoors what results I'm looking for but like 3 to 4 ft tall.thanks for all suggestions and advice!

Cool, but you don't need them to be that big before you get them out, just a waste of electricity... my .02
These started out as 6 inch clones, placed in the ground mid may. Many were over 5lbs.

That is very nice . I have to keep inside until grandmas goes back to homeland haha and then I can blow up my backyard just like that are 50 gallons enough and were the nutrients the same as you mentioned?

50 is a good size pot, I would go up to 200 gallon smart pots, but that's a lot soil (1 yard=200gal). You can find bulk soil delivery on craigslist. If money is an issue I would go with better soil in 50 gal pots as opposed to cheap soil in 200's.
PS: you can acclimate your babies by taking them outside on nice days. That will beef them up way better than a t5/600w.

Okay so it wouldn't shock plants to bring out in sunlight on warm days ? That sounds nice I was aiming for 100 gallon but may have to do 50 thanks for advice.

Nope, just start in the shade first day, check on them constantly, set a timer so you don't forget them outside

Okay I have gotten everything and transplanted how should I got about water schedule? I will include pics give any comment or suggestion Thanks Garden boss

Water schedule is climate based... when they dry out- I water them. If the start to wilt then you waited too long. Its a fine line to master water timing. Overwatering is a common rookie mistake.
