this is a jar of seed. my wife says she has had it since the late 70's early 80's. i went thru and picked out 10 good looking ones. a lot of them were just old and brittle but a lot of them looked good also. so i have 10 germing and will keep trying until i get a few to sprout. i would assume it is most likely Colombian but who really knows. the seeds looked like there were numerous types mixed together. i have no idea what will happen here but i am excited. i will update as the events unfold. STAY TUNED.
you may post in this thread. all comments are welcome. :peace::mrgreen::joint::joint:

Good luck man. I think you'll get at least a few. I don't believe in seeds going bad from age. Not when they are stored in airtight containers as such! Hope you see many little sprouts.

They Don't Look 20 years old. But i don't know what a 20 year old seed look like anyways. Can't wait to see them sprout and grow. What happen to that strain called Tie Stick or something like that? Wonder all the strains mix up in there? WOW U R DA MAN!

u should have good success with the seeds. Depending on how theve been kept that is.

Botany experts have germinated seeds that have been upto 500years old, not cannabis though lol they always say it depends on how theve been stored....

good luck....

Pity ur not in UK, cos i wouldnt mind experimenting with 20yr old seeds. U might get lucky...

I've had 5 year old seeds sprout just like they were fresh. 20 years should be interesting. I wonder if it's a strain thats been bred out of existence. You might wind up with quite a catch there mate :)

sweet fdd... bring back some of the good ol strains... you could start some more new breeds, with some of these older genetics in them... that'd be cool!!!

i get toilet paper (one piece) fold it in half and put like 5-10 seeds use a spray bottle to dampen the seeds and paper. then get another piece of toilet paper and fold it and put it on top of oter pices then spray it till desired dampness. then i get an empty dvd case and put it on the side opposite where the dvd goes. and close it and leave it be 4 2 or 3 days and ive had almost 100% breakage. give it a try.
