Will have 2 600W hps air cooled hoods using a 200cfm cage fan. Will have 6 plants in the room. I will also be having a 100 Cfm cage fan for intake air. Only thing I'm worried about is heat.should I be concerned about a heat issue, or is the 200cfm adequate for my grow space? Thanks

Assuming you are venting the hoods outside the environment, no worries. I would consider upping the vent fan, you might have trouble getting the 8" love zone without foliage heat. I will be running 250cfm per bulb as an example, and the math dictates my 1,000w hps will sit about 18"-20" from the canopy. This is an extreme example, but anything worth doing, is worth over doing. =)

Sorry, forgot to mention intake temp is huge. My air intake will sit at 40 degrees. The higher the intake temp, the more air your exhaust fan has to move. You just need to fire it up and check it after 30 mins. Using a Temp gun is handy to check foliage temp. Auto parts house has 'em for like 20 bucks...And put that cage fan on the outside. Fans suck 4x more than they blow, like wome...uhhh, never mind...

Lol the best way to find out is turn them big bad lights on and throw a therometer in there, and go from there, its all about trial and error.

What's a cage fan; is that a blower?

I'd humbly suggest running a single 6" centrifugal fan of your choice (I like Vortex), exhausting the room through the lights, and using 2x8" passive intakes. Good luck.
