Hi new here. SWIM is planning on growing again after taking a break for a couple years. Past grows were soil with a Sea of green method. Decent success with bag seed genes. This time around SWIM went aghead and got some genetics from Europe. Got a 5 pack of Chem dawg 91 and a 6 pack of Sour Kush. Also got a bunch of freebies. On 1/25 SWIM germinated 14 seeds that sprouted. 4 chem dawg 3 sour kush 2 sour sorbet 1 green crack 1 Auto dark purple 1 lemon candy 1 bcn desial 1 pink kush. SWIM just plans on keeping about 6-8 for mother’s. Will be adding another 4x8 tent for the flowering room.

Now my question is how many small plants could 6 100wat advance diamond series LEDs (300$ each) daisy chained together could handle. SWIM had good success with 2 of them growing 10 plants at .75oz per harvest. Goal would be having around 40-50 small plants grown in soil harvesting around .5oz per plant.

Also was looking into getting a light mover*

Thanks for your input

If you're spending $1800+ on 100W prebuilt LEDs, look into Cobs or Quantum Boards.

6 x 100W whatever LED that you mentioned, will give you 600 Watts for $1800! You can get WAY better bang for your buck with different LED setups.

As per how may plants... you can scrog 1 plant in a 4x8, or sog 50...? Generally speaking you want to give a single plant at least 2ft x 2ft of space to grow. So you could put 8 plants in a 4x8 comfortable.

That is not to say that you can't fit 8-12 plants in there, or that you can not get the same yield off 4 plants in there.

2x hlg600s from growers lights giving you plenty of light across the flowering tent for a few hundred dollars less than those diamond series lights and more light.

But with 600w of those diamond series I wouldn't want to be covering more than 4x5 to 4x6 at a push. How many plants you can put in that space is up to you, 4plants per square foot - 1 plant per square foot or 4 plants in the whole space..

Im guessing your running less than 4 plants per square foot to be pulling 3/4 oz per plant but more than 1 plant per square foot.
