2 125w CFLS -vs- 150 HPS..

I have a small grow box.. about 2x2x2 ...
What would be better and safer to use..
2 125w CFLS
or 1 150w HPS system?

im not by any mean a pro grower, but i can say what your dimensions are your going to need more ventilatin to keep your room cool with hps. overall hps are the best for flowering but cfl do grow bomb bud. i am startin my next grow with a t5 flo set up because i have personaly seen a t5 set up grow amazing bud. so if your a newb go with a cfl set up so its easier on heat. hope this helps...

well if u could veg with cfls flower with hps is best but to answer ur ?
hps is probably better investment cuz ur gonna need one anyway i seen amazing grows start to finish in a small area with hps good luck peace

If you have the ability to, i would go with the 150w HPS, with a cool tube.

All you need to make a 150w HPS with a Cooltube. And for under $50!

i would say hps but your box is super small so CFL's are the only option really.

don't worry you still grow good pot, and actually all the advantages of HPS don't really apply in a small space... if you have short plants CFL's are perfect.

You should check out GypsyBush's journal about his aerogarden grow, he had super short lst'd plants.
