Hi Everyone,

So today is the one week mark. Started to germinate last Sunday with the super rooter cubes and a propagation setup. Most took off nicely with all tap roots making their way out before finding the solo cup on Friday.

I see they are growing very tall so I need advice. Should I transfer them tomorrow , or another day, to their 1 gallon fabric pots?.. or simply reseed deeper into the solo cup?

They are in a 5x5 shorty with a carbon filter, 435 cfm fan and back to back 315s all cooled and vented out..
I raised them off the ground to be closer to the light to avoid further stretching while I ask you folks for advice.

Currently 75 degrees and about 50-55%RH with the cool mist and fan running in there

thanks so much

What light are they under? They grow faster in small containers. If they're stretching get the light closer.

They are under phantom 315 4200k cmh, I have two but am only using one when they are young. The only other lights I have are tiny t5 for the sprouter kit i started them in. I just switch them to the tent about 30 hours ago..started on the ground and realized they should be higher.

Right now as they sit the top of the solo cup is exactly 29.5" from the glass bottom of the light, the temps on the solo cup are at 73 and humidity is at 43% in the tent.
Go higher with the plants so they are closer? My 1 gallon fabric pots come tomorrow, any suggestion about when to put in there and possibly transfer them nice and deep so only about an inch of the seedling is comin out of them?

thanks for helping , it is REALLY appreciated

Big Steve has a thing about graduated container use. Repot only to the next size up. The veg growth is much faster than transplanting a seedling into it's final container.

Thanks for the help hotrod.
Being a new enthusiast , there is alot to learn. I spent weeks reading and researching before pushing the go button..
Glad I finally did :)
