1st Time SCROG, Super Silver Haze, Floresence Lights

This is my first scrog grow and the second grow of this strain. I grew the strain years ago and have kept track of clones that I gave away and when I had a chance to grow again I was able to procure one for myself. Unfortunately I do not have access to a strain that would preform better indoors but the smoke from this is well worth the 12 week flowering time. I am in the process of establishing a second grow area to house clones for veg. but a little low on funds after putting the finishing touches on the grow area. My plan is to train in veg for 12 weeks while flowering in the other area.

The clone is 2 weeks old in this photo and is in a seedling miracle grow mix. It was shortly transplanted into a 3 gallon pot filled with miracle grow, and native organic garden soil.

The second photo is at 7 weeks after some training and trimming. Initially I planned to fill the entire screen before I flowered but I have read material claiming plants double in size during flowering so I would like to induce flowering as soon as I can make a second grow area.

I have used thumb tacks to make a tent like area that is sealed so i could provide good suction on my grow area using a 50 cfm exhaust fan. After installing the exhaust hose through the attic and out the vents naturally built into roofs the pull is still enough to keep even grow closet smell free outside the tent. The reason you cant see through the clear plastic is because of a mylar piece directing the light back to the plant.

I guess that's all for now, thanks for reading and feel free to post suggestions or comments.

I may be replacing my floro tubes for 400 watt HPS from a friend today, do you all think my current setup will be able to cool this increased heat pressure?/ will the hood get hot enough to melt my plastic tent?

From what I have read they do get pretty darm HOTT, not sure that they will melt your tent though. As long as it is not too close to the plastic and it is vented. I have greenhoused for 15 years first time for cannabis.
