1st time hydro grower, any advice pls??

I actually bought a 5 in 1, 8 plant hydroponic super grow box. I started to grow my plants in soil, n as soon as they sprouted i planted them in the rockwool n started them in my box. My profile pic is a picture i took probably 3 days ago of my plants so they r actually growing. I have 4 plants and a few have small brown spots on the leaves, also im not sure when exactly to start them on there next cycle of nutrients. Any feedback would b much appreciated!!

feed them when cotyledons start to yellow

Get a good meter and feed them according to what the meter tells you.

At the risk of sounding like an idiot, i will admit that when i said 1st time grower, i meant very 1st time period! The technical terms u veteran growers use mean absolute gibberish to me, on top of that i have it seems an unlimited supply of questions. For example: my box is a lil over 2.5 feet tall, which means i have about 2 feet of grows room, question is where can i get sum quality seeds that will grow me short plants?? I have 4 random plants in there at this point n i have no clue if there gonna decide to out grow the box (i hope not!).

If its your first grow,then grow with soil until you get aquainted the plant itself...
Cotyledons are the little round leaves that first show when they split the shell...
Also, with your space limitations,I recommend using autoflower strains...

Go Autoflower! Chcek out some of your options here http://en.seedfinder.eu/database/strains/autoflowering/

My favorite is Super Auto Sativa (basically Super Silver Haze) and MI5, which is a cross of a nice purple afghani and a robust AK47.

Autoflower might be helpful to get aclimiated to the growing world as well. They are more simple in my opinion that photoperiod strains. drop the seeds, set the lights to 20/4 (from start to finish), and in roughly 65 days you have upto 2oz of bud per plant, depending on many variables of course. Don't believe that autoflowering isn't as potent, come smoke a bowl with and you'd never know the difference. Oh and as well, there is no LST or supercropping, or any other advanced techniques needed, simply water them and keep whatever variables needed within spec and viola!

Thanks alot, i swear i been doin all kinds of researching, granted i do all this on my cellphone because i don't have a computer at home at this point n unfortunately my phone isn't a fancy smart phone so it doesn't respond well to alot of websites. But this alone has been more good advice/research than i was able to find. I'll keep updating on my current plants n hopefully i can get my hands on sum autoflower seeds on time for the next crop.
