1st time grower looking for help (Autoflower)

Hey all,

This is my first attempt at growing and things seem to be going well from what I can tell. I'm entering the 4th week since sprout and I did my first attempt at LST 2 days ago by tying the the top branch down slightly. Because my plant seemed so compact I moved my light a little higher thinking I could get it to stretch a little as everything seemed to be growing so tightly together. Over the last 2 days I have seen a lot of growth and the plants seem to have been doing well. Tonight I noticed a few brown spots on one of the sets of fan leaves and I'm not sure if I should be concerned?

I'm growing in a 2 to 1 mix of FFOF and Happy Frog soil with about 25% perlite mixed in. I also added 3 inches of straight Happy Frog to the top of my 5 gallon fabric pot for the germinated seed to start in.

I have not added any additional nutrients and have been watering when soil is dry and pot is light with tap water ph'd between 6.25 and 6.5. My plan was to top dress with FFOF when needed but I also have fox farm trio liquid nutrients available.

Is this browning anything to be concerned with at this point? No other leaves seem to be displaying any issues. I noticed that this set of fan leafs started to get hit by my oscillating fan more directly over the last day (to the point where it would flip up as the fan went by). Could this be the cause?

I appreciate any help and guidance!

She looks good. Water splash maybe?
Thanks for your quick reply! I've been pretty careful when watering my plants, but it's possible I dripped water without realizing when filling my humidifier. Based on the location this is a good bet! There didn't appear to be any changes this morning so hopefully your on to something.

Does anyone have a recommendation on a good humidifier for a 4x4 tent? I haven't been very happy with the one I got. I doesn't seem very accurate and has to be manually reset every time I change the water or turn it off. I would like to get a temp/RH controller but I don't think it will work with what I have.

I appreciate any help/guidance!

I think any humidifier will work as long as you have the option to control the amount of mist. A humidity controller is key here, because otherwise the humidifier will just run all day. I have an inkbird controller that can control both humidity, and dehumidification. My dehuey has its on controller built in so I don’t use that function of the controller, but still a nice feature to have in the event my dehuey takes a crap.
