I use the above as a guide when I need to know when to harvest. On the 3 pics U provided, I saw no "white hairs" in the first 2 pics and only a few in ur 3rd pic. I also see lots of milky white trichomes. If this were my garden, I'd harvest now.

I grew some chocolate habs one year and made some jerk seasoning and sauce. If you can find some, they are definately worth growing.. Much different flavor than the spanish reds and regular orange onesNice. I did peppers this year for the first time. Didn't do Jalapenos but did do two 'habanero' varieties, two Aji's, a Manzano & poblanos. Next year I'll start them earlier since they're really ripening most effectively right now and it's a race to the frost. But I did make one batch of peach habanero jam and I'm going to do a lemon marmalade aji as well as a Caribbean 'down home' habanero sauce. I think the tent will be doing double duty towards the edges.
