1st harvest ever - TINY auto assassin

I've got a couple more plants I'll be harvesting soon but I've gotten a kick out of this little girl ever since she looked like she was going to actually live. This is a before and after trimming pic...this is not the top cola. this is the ENTIRE PLANT. I stressed her pretty badly in the very early seedling stage and she never really recovered, plus it turned out there were some trees giving her a couple extra hours of shade every day. I grew outside in a mix of regular-ass topsoil, perlite, and local soil. Not really ideal by any means. I fed them a totally guesstimated regiment of miracle grow (i know) bloom booster liquid food. Tried some MG powdered something or other because it had more P and K, but it was much stronger and I didn't dillute it enough and it burned the SHIT out of all my plants. Never used it again. Made a lot of mistakes, learned a lot of lessons, but most importantly, HAD A LOT OF FUN! I honestly don't even care how small this one turned out...she was fun to grow and I love her! (the others did turn out better and I'll post them here later when I harvest them)

EDIT: Here are pictures of the other two girls. one is slightly less tiny and one actually turned out ok. Even got a tiny chunk of scissor hash. Thanks for all the info and help, RIU...I wouldn't have gotten here without you guys. I know this is pretty small time for most of you experts, but for my first time out, I'm pretty happy with how it turned out, and I sure had fun doing it.

That just about sums it up.....lol.

Thats what i call "Dud-bud". I had a plant last summer that wasn't getting proper drainage, and was neglected. I got similar looking results. Smoke was bomb though!

I had a NLxBB that I did not know was an auto. I stressed the shit out of her before I noticed what she was. She was tiny and yielded very little, maybe 8 grams, But the smoke was awesome.

still drying. the little one is about ready for the curing jar, the rest of it is a few days off still. i've got a special occasion i'm saving the little one for, i'll let you guys know how the rest of it is soon.

About how tall was the short one? I have a midget myself and curious about my yield. Happy tokin!

it was like 6" tall including the stalk before i chopped it. now that it's dry it looks like one bud. total dried weight for the entire harvest - 10g. Not too impressive. They also smell terrible. Not like cannabis at all. I've heard that they take on a hay smell during drying that comes back with a proper cure. I hope so. They lost their delicious weed smell (and it was delicious) by the time I got done trimming them. But it was fun, and next time will be much better!

Nice, at least you got something out of it. My blue mystic is about 6/7" and started flowering about a week ago. I dont mind if i get 10g's as long as its sum flame lol. I hear people say they can double in size during flowering but we'll see.

I had a northern lights that was only like 12 inches, and got only like 3 times as much, but I was put in a stoma and was laughing at nothing for about 2 hours. Sometimes those little ones can pact all that energy into the bud.

Well atleast you got something off of it and you learned for next time, thats the important thing, I see this alot though, people think too hard about growing there plants. You dont need all these fantsy things. This is what i do with my auto's and i get a very good yield everytime. I just plant them in regular soil (this year was bags from walmart, miracal-gro moisture control and miracle gro organic soil, 4 bucks a bag). Then i stick them outside in there forever pots (i dont transplant auto's to avoid stunning them, just plant them in there forever pot right off the bat. I dont even feed then grow nutes although if you want to you can start that at 3 weeks. Then i feed them big bud nutes starting at 5 weeks to 7 weeks. Then flush then at 8 and 9 weeks, then there done. Its as easy as that, there plants, let mother nature work her magic. Check out my grow for this year on my profile. Happy smoking!!

I have some blue mystic plants too, mine are 4 weeks today and about a foot and a half. But you know what they say about small plants, there packed with flavor. I wouldnt be upset either, if you get 10 grams thats still 10 free grams - wtv you paid for the seed, probably 10 bucks max. Its a win still!

Well, the smoke turned out so-so. wasn't great, but it worked. If you count what I spent on the seeds that I killed, I'm still in the hole for this grow, but the main thing was I got my feet wet and learned a lot about growing that will help with next year's grow, and i had fun doing it. I'm gonna be laying low for a bit and then i'll pop back in again when i get my next grow up and running. Happy toking everybody!

My first grow i used shitty soil pretty much straight up mulch.. Plus spider mites >.> nice pics btw
