1st Harvest and 1st cure

I have harvested my 2 girls "Strain (EM)" I have them trimmed and curing in glass jars I waited until I got a good bend without breaking they smell a little sweet and kind of musty to my nose but they were starting to get crispy on the outside so I jarred them I have them burping but I need to know how long? Is this smell normal? I hate to sound redundant but I am a Rookie. Help Greatly appreciated

did u flush before harvesting? i have had that musty smell before on my first ever grow due to the fact i did not flush before harvesting, i learnt my lesson there!

yah, the smell sounds normal to me... ime, it takes around 3 good weeks in jars before the smell comes out pretty well.. i know i grew chocolate rain by sannies and crew, and the bud didn't have that much of a killer smell when it was in flowering, not to say it didn't smell at all, but after a 3 week cure, holy cow cakes, that shit was out of this world, killer skunky smell..

Keep an eye on the buds. Feel if they are mushy and if so, open the jar or dump them out for a few hours. When they feel normal or dry, put the lid on. Repeat as necessary. My buds were musty at first and later that mostly leaves. It is chlorophyll and will come out over time.
