1st grow

I'm just starting out, going to be playing with DWC and Aeroponic. This thread is partly to document my grow and to soak up any advice thrown my way.

This closet area is going to be for mothers/clones/vegging.

Right now they just have two 54watt 6500k T5's for light.

I have a high output air pump that runs to each bucket.

The 5 gallon pail is my reservoir which is chained to all of the 2 gallon pails, and a small submersible pump keeps it circulating.

I just added nutrients today when the leaves started turning a little yellow. My tap water reads 250ppm, after adding some nutes I'm now at 730ppm . For nutrients I'm using two parts GH FloraMicro one part FloraBloom, as in the Lucas formula.

These were sprouted from seed, and the strains are Gigabud, Big Bud and Blue Hash.

The flower area is going to be modeled after Stinkbuds awesome three station aero setup.

I added two more fluorescent tubes and some more nutes. I'm now at 1020ppm 5.8ph

They have gotten a little bigger. It's going to take a while before I can flower, since I am going to wait until they are big enough to clone, sex, etc.

So in the meantime I'm sprouting 5 auto fem lemon skunk and 5 auto fem blueberry. In hopes to get some quick action before the others are ready.

I have two 600w lights, with extra bulbs. For these two autoflowering strains I'm wondering if I should do one MH and one HPS, or both HPS?

Also, I was planning on doing 18/6 light schedule all the way through, since they are autoflower.

Im at the same point as you bro, i have 5 fem auto la diva's germinating gonna be growing them with a 250w hps (have always used hps) , vintage bat guano for the nutes and some organic soil.
People are always talking about weather to go for 20/4 or 18/6. The breeders of the autos recommend 20/4 all the way, but i'v been following another auto grow,, and this person is doing 20/4 for the first month and 18/6 for the second, i liked his idea and am gonna go for that.

Thanks for the heads up about the lights, 2Timer. I've started them on 20/4. How are your La Diva's coming along?

The first picture is the autoflowering fem blueberry & lemon skunk, all 10 seeds just sprouted. I've put them in the clone bucket with tap water for now. 600w MH light. I'll move them when they get a little bigger.

And more pictures of the mothers. Anyone know if these 4 fluorescent tubes going to be enough light to keep these mothers going? I don't need explosive growth or anything, just need them to stay alive.

Nutrients are at 1080ppm 5.8ph

Some of the leaves are getting a little spotty (See the last pic) Any ideas?

The autoflower sprouts are growing nice long roots, the leaves aren't getting too much bigger yet though.

Humidity is 34%, temp 82

I've dropped the nutrients down a little bit for the mothers due to some burning. But they seem to be growing out pretty quickly.

I had to hook up my carbon filter because it was starting to smell like I had some pet skunks in the house.

I'm also exhausting in to the attic now to keep temps down a little.
