1st grow with CFL's! 26 watt r 42 watt bulbs?

so should i use 8x 26 watt bulbs at 6500k for veg and 8x 42 watt bulbs at 2700k for flower?

i don't want the change in wattage to shock the plants, i cant find 6500k bulbs anywhere here rated at 42 watts = 150, only at 26=100watts

You can grow with many other cfls besides a 125w. Don't take this guys word as gospel.

I would say get the most Watts that is economical. Dont worry too much about shocking the plants with light. Very very very rarely can you give them too much especially with CFLs.

I would hit up walmart/lowes/target and get the biggest cheapest ones you can. Couple of 42w would do pretty well.

how many plants you growin? iv got one plant under a 125w cfl just now shes thrivin the bulb only cost me 25 bux

im thinking 8 42 watt bulbs, i will have 8 6500k for veg and 8 2700k for flower.

2 plants in bigger pots or 4 plants in smaller pots.

Im also doing the same cabinet with a 180 watt LED panel where i am doing 3 big pots!
