My space is 3 foot by 3 foot by about 7.5 or 8 foot high. The room its self is approximately twice that size but that is the actual space for growing. The rest will be used for cloning...equipment... etc.
My problem is cooling. I dont know what to use. I have one tiny window that I would rather not use to exhaust out of. I want it to be self contained. I have pretty much seen I am down to a portable ac unit but I jsut dont know what to do with the exhuast. Are these fairly quiet that if I exhaust it to the basement with care (find a way to dampin the noise with insulation, etc) no one would notice if they were down there. I've looked at building ac units out of a cooler and a fan and some copper tubing but that seems pretty ghetto fabulous... not to metion it probably wont be all that effective over the long term.
I'll be running 600 watt MH and HPS lights for vegging and then flowering respectively if that helps. Will have some CFL in there for to supplement and for cloning, seeding, what not.
