Hi every1, so this is my first grow and i am rele starting from 0. Ive been doing sum research about lights, fans but still have lots of questions.

My growing space is a closet 2x2 feet and a little over 4 feet tall, i have to put some tin foil around still and i plan on growing 1, MAYBE 2 plants of purple skunk or big bud, will this be enough space? Next question is about lights, wat is the best to use (anything that i can get from Candian Tire, Home Depot type store), i have a fan but am not sure if its good enough or about where to put it or about the exhaust. I also would like to cover up the smell as this will have to b extremely stealth..any kind of spoof idea or sumthing would b good but my main concerns are Lights and Exhaust/air..thanks in advance

cfl's would work with that space. definately do not use tin foil, it will burn your plants. use white paint or an emergency blanket from walmart. for a fan, a small one on the plants will work. venting and smell i don't have to worry about so i can't help much there. g/l man

For more information on CFL's check out the CFL forum CFL Growing . Should be plenty of people posting about their CFL setups to help you judge what you need.

I'm not CFL pro, but I'd guess you would need like 6-8 y sockets so that would be 12-16 bulbs! I know it sounds like a lot, but that would produce some nice CFL bud =].

How do you plan on making that area light tight for flowering?

For smell the best bet would be a carbon filter. Smell has been a big issue for me, and even after trying the DIY Carbon Filter I wasn't happy with the results. Next time around I'll be purchasing a real carbon filter, and investing in better exhaust fan to make sure all the air gets put through that filter.

Good luck!
