Hey everybody, this is my first grow and I would like to share it with you guys on Rollitup.

The soil I'm using is Roots Organic, along with 5 gallon grow bags with a thin layer of Hydroton at the bottom. I'm using an 4'-8 bulb T-5 at the moment with 6 out of 8 lights in until more is needed. I have a 600 watt HPS ready to go for flowering when my babies are ready.

They get pampered quite often and I read them a bedtime story before I turn their lights off. I love my babies so much!

Now to introduce my babies:

Middy (mids bagseed)
IMG_0464.jpgShe's a month and a few days old now, she's quite the lady too. I topped her randomly for the sake of doing it (since she was expected to be a male and a practice plant) so she's bushing out like crazy right now. Recently she showed me her gentiles and I was shocked! mid922 (2).jpg

Mazar:

This baby has been going for almost 3 weeks now. I have since topped her using Uncle Ben's Topping technique and she's responding quite favorably to it. I was sad to do it to her, but she's strong!!

Before topping:

3 days after topping:

She also has a strange growth by her Cotyledon, which has responded to the topping and is slowly growing out like a retarded 3rd arm. It's okay though, I still think she's beautiful! Here's a picture of it:

Big Bud:
What can I say, she's a strong grower. I haven't topped her yet but I do plan on topping her sometime within the next week. Here's a picture of her from a few days ago

More pictures in the coming weeks, stay tuned! bongsmilie

Update: All 8 T-5 bulbs are in now and I'm slowly switching over from an 18/6 to a 24-7 schedule until I decide to flower. I was initially operating under the philosophy that the plant evolved with the rising and setting of the sun so I should always seek to mimic that. However, upon further research, I decided to slowly transition my babies into pure daylight for the next few weeks.

P.S.- Mazar is responding very very well to the topping. Big bud will most likely be topped tomorrow. More pictures on Friday!
