1st grow has been a waste of time!! :(

check out my poor babies. these are approx 1 week from harvest! lol.

now i have learned alot from this grow and it wont happen again! 1st of all i have not bothered with heat as i cant afford to heat my flat basically and its freezing in england right now! so next time i shall get a small heater to put in the tent.

i have spider mites but i have managed to get them down to hardly any....but that's proberbly due to the cold. and also have a magnesium def. i did get some magnesium but it had no affect.011.jpg012.jpg013.jpg014.jpg :( 3 months and loads of money down the pan.

look at them! lankey plants with no leaves and whats left are brown. but worst of all hardly any bud! i reckon i might get around 1/2 ounce from all 5 plants haha.....

so let me know what you think and where i can improve for next time. thanks.

im gutted no smoke for me xmas and new year. :(

last week as in 8 weeks of flower or 10+ ..when plants get hurt they take a lot longer to get done. Might need another week or two. Just my 02 and trichomes and what do they look like

there isnt any sugar leaves but i have a magniying glass so i will find some and have a gander. i was actually thinking give them longer. they been flowering just under 2 months now...

worst-first, man, I just started my first grow a week ago and I hope I'll get as far along as you did...well, obviously I wish for some killer bud...keep wishin =)

It happens, if nothing else you learned how not to grow bud. You will still be able to smoke the little you have on there. It might give you a good taste of how sweet growing your own is. My first sucked but that's how i learn is make the mistake once and make damn sure not to repeat it. Best of luck man and hey at least you will get something to smoke.

No grow no matter how short or long and regardless of outcome is a waste of time. Only the being that created the plant has ever grown it perfectly. So take heart my friend. It was a learning experience, next grow...major dank! Good Luck and +rep for not giving up on them and seeing it through.

I wouldnt say your grow was a waste of time. You said you learned alot and you wont make the same mistakes next time. If you learned alot and your getting something to smoke out of it its definately not a waste of time. Dont be bummed if you arent getting as much as you would like out of the harvest. in my first 2 grows all my plants died within the first month, but i still dont think it was a waste of time because I learned alot in the process and plan on trying again soon. just keep on trying man.

You can't call it a total loss if you learned something from it. I'm doing my first grow too, and I got lucky with it. I only have one plant, but I've learned a ton of info!! I also did two months research here at RIU forums before I planted. I was interested in doing auto flowers so I read everything I could find on them. I found lots of posts here and even some really good guides on autos. Research what you are growing like mad before you spend anything.

No one was born knowing how to do this. Everyone learned sometime. Enjoy the smoke you do get from that batch and remember that it gets better from here on.

cheers

yeh its hard in they UK with the weather.. you gotta have some additional sort of heat for your lady's during those cold nights ...specially been in the winter and umm Scotland is worse... believe me. But it wasn't a waste of time as you said.. you learnt from it & not to mention you have got some bud.. probably not as much as you wanted but you have got some..keep her flowering for as long as you can keeping an eye the trichs etc you may get a bit more out of her..

Now looks like this:
