Hello everyone the following is how my 1st grow is going and what i have done so far
Started this because i did have some 1ft clones of GWS and MKs but they didnt surive the ride to my place and the heat kinda killed them on the way. so i had 40 seeds laying around and decided to use the heat and try to to grow some bag seeds up to perfect any kinks in my system.
on the 5th of June i placed all 40 seeds in paper towels and doubled covered them in tupperware and left them in my room that been hitting around 88-95 degrees during this heatwave. i figured about 1/2 them will pop.
on the 7th Of June i was correct and i had 23 them that popped some was 1inch long around with no more shell around it so i placed them currently in a old Goodwill cab that i got for 10$ that even looked like it was used for growing before because it reaked of smoke and there are 3 big holes and some tie downs along the sides to slip cables or tubes in.
I now on the 10th i ran some string across to help the plants to stay str8 because they started to fall stuff form the jiff pelts i was using plan on getting rid of the pelts in the next cpl days want see if i can get them to root really well before i try to place them in 3 different sets ups i have rigged together so far.
here are the pics of them so far they are about 3-4inches tall and the 2nd set of leaves seem to poping on all of them but for one that is still waiting on it 1st set going give it a cpl more days before i pull that one out and be down to a total of `8 babies.
Currently they have 1 300watt Cfl warm and 1 120Watt Cfl cool strung up using the protectors of shop lights taken off of them. Will be adding in 3 more of the cool lights later on tomorrow or tuesday evening.
I currently want to try to grow them using a cpl different ways i think
1st Idea I have a 6 net aero system i built by looking at pics of different ones
using just some pvc and 360 degree sprayers
and 1 254gallon pump
2nd set up i have is 3 bubble buckets with 2 air pumps each in each one and 2 nets in each pot so it will be 6 plants i can do in them too.
3rd set up i was just going get 6 2liter bottles and just soil grow them .
After i do this grow i will see what one of the 3 systems work best in my room atm and try again with some good clones again that i can have access to easy. Mostly likely (Avalon) because i like the 6-8 week flower cycle and not having to grow the plants to 6ft like the GWS and MK was going be on me.
Also i hope to keep these plants to the size of 4ft or so when they are ready to harvested up.
