alright guys i planted the seeds that germinated and began my 24/0 light cycle. Also changed the light suspension because my other method didnt work out to well (electric tape melted). That being said, i believe my temp is a little too high. When i close the door, even with the fan running the temp is reaching 95 or so. As of now I am just leaving the door open with another fan blowing in, is this what i should be doing? Another question I had was the amount of water i need to be giving them. I watered it enough so the top was damp but not soaked and came back in a couple hours and it was very dry. Please comment. Thanks in advance

Hey. Im not sure at all about your first question.

But your watering question. I might be able toi give you some advice on...

Next time your medium looks dried out.. stick your finger into the soil about 1.5-2" down. If it feels
as dry as the top.. then water it.. but give it a little more water this time. This way.. you know
it just had a good watering.. and if after you did that.. you still have problems with your medium drying out
too fast then I would think about changing mediums (Soils).

But like I said... just next time you water. Water it a little more than you normally would. Then from then on, just count on watering every other day. But just water it enough to get the top of the soil damp. You
don't want any water standing on top the soil. :P

Hope some of this helped.

Good Luck!

Hey. Some tips.

I have found that growth is faster with 18/6 or even 20/4 because roots develop faster in the dark. Also do you have an intake and an exhaust in your box? If not there should be an exhaust fan blowing hot air out the top and an intake down below blowing in cooler air. Computer fans work really well. You should try to keep yor temps no higher than 84 in my opinion. But with an intake and an exhuast with four lights shoul easily be qble to make it in the correct temp range. Computer fans are what i use and my veg chamber has 3 42 watt cfls. The flower chamber has 5 42 watt cfls and a 32 watt cfl. My temps star between 75-82. Also whe the dirt 2-3 inches is soil are dry than you water. To much water can eventually kill your plant by cutting off air to the roots. The roots will also form near the bottom where it is wet the longest. If your roots aren't utilizing all the soil and space your
plant is not as efficient absorbing water n bites ant it will also become rootbound and could stop growing or grow very slow.
