Here's my Speed Haze I have been taming for many weeks now. I finally bent/snapped the meristem horizontally, as they kept stretching like crazy. It's a ssh x j.herer hybrid so it's no surprise the stretch is
hard to contain. Anyway, my 250w hps died when the plants were 2 weeks in, so I had to run out and get some
"quick-fix" lighting. 2 65w CFL's and one 67w 2700k CFL with clamp-lamp reflectors. It seems to be working alright, as they are flowering properly, but not much light penetrates below the canopy. Still hoping for a decent harvest of some sticky-icky irie-eye dankness.bongsmilie

From what I can see, looking good. Then again, I'm heavily biased towards CFLs!

Throw some side lighting on the bottom sides of the plant to supplement the light. That will help. CFLs don't have less penetration, per se, they just have less lumens which equals less light. I personally use two CFL "hoods" that are each 330+ watts, and they really produce pro-quality results. I'm sure with enough light on your plants, you'll get good results!
