Hi everyone, I had a grow journal on here couple weeks back but it went down the crapper............ My only problem is heat. I have great ventilation (good air movement in the grow box) but i think the intake and exhaust is the problem. I currently have 3 Hula Buddha's that are 2 weeks into veg, 3 tomatoes and 2 basils that have just germinated. I will move tomatoes into separate grow box in a couple weeks. Here are som specs of my grow.
Grow Box:
Length - 16 in
Width - 20 in
Height - 32 in.
Ventilation:
(4) 80 mm PC fans, 2 intake, 2 exhaust
(1) 4 in desk fan (pointing directly at 175w MH, pushing air straight to it to lower temp of the bulb.

Lights:
(4) 100w CFL equivalent bulbs (which is above my 3 tomatoes and 2 basil seedlings)
(1) 175w MH over the 3 Hula Buddha
(1) 150w HPS (for flower)
Even when the CFLs are off and MH is on, I still have a major heat problem. When MH is off and CFLs are on, the temp is about 75 F, with just MH on the temp is 90F - 95F. With all lights on the temps are well over 100F!!!!! I do have a 150w HPS for flower, but the temps are fine when that is on so i'm guessing MH is alot hotter than HPS is.
I will get a 4 inch carbon fiber fan for exhaust as soon as i switch to flower. Im in a bit of pickle with money, but i will get a carbon fiber fan eventually

PS: My iphone takes good quality photos, but when the MH is on, they com out fuzzy kind of, anyone know what the problem with that could be?? Thx again

Also The leaf tips of the 1st and 2nd true leaves r turning yellow, I havent given any nutes yet and they are a little over 2 weeks old so should I begin given nutes at 1/4 to 1/2 strength now or wait a little. The pH is at 6.5 and temp is at 85 F with door open (but i want the door closed), so it must be a nute problem.
